Do you have a waitlist?
No, we don’t do waitlists.
We can typically begin working with children or parents within one to two weeks of receiving your referral.
We can get started working together by leaving your details on our referral form.
Are you a Psychologist?
No, we do not currently have a Psychologist as part of our team. Our team consists of social workers, counsellors and early childhood teachers who have years of training, are suitably qualified and have years of experience working with children.
If you don’t have any Psychologists, how can you help me?
Our team of practitioners are qualified and have had extensive training in play therapy, child development, attachment and counselling to support children and parents with a range of issues and challenges. Our team is qualified to support children and parents on goals related to their social and emotional wellbeing such as:
emotional expression and regulation
identifying and labelling feelings
building confidence and self-esteem
social relationships and pro-social skills
safe coping strategies
building resilience and courage
strengthening parent-child relationships
building parenting skills and parenting confidence
understanding and recognising children’s needs
Are Mental Health Care Plans accepted and can I get anything back from Medicare?
While we can work with families under a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan, you’re unable to receive a rebate from Medicare for our services.
This is fabulous news for us though!
A) We’re not limited to Government approved therapies.
B) We can work in a way that’s flexible and more holistic.
Do we conduct diagnostic assessments?
No, assessments for Autism, ADHD and developmental delays are currently out of our scope.
We can offer an assessment of needs, along with recommendations. This can be useful to submit with your NDIS applications or plan reviews.
Can I use NDIS funding?
Yes! You can use NDIS funding on plans that are plan managed or self managed.

Do I need a referral?
No, you do not need a referral from a GP or health care professional. You can refer yourself to our service by completing our referral form below.
