Social Media Marketing and Relationships Assistant

Nurture, Play and Healing is a growing children’s therapeutic practice servicing children, young people and their family in Hobart.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Marketing and Relationships Assistant to join our team.

Our Social Media Marketing and Relationships Assistant will help build awareness of the Nurture, Play and Healing brand and service to the broader community.  The role is for an ongoing contractor position of two-three hours per week initially.  There will be opportunities to increase hours as demand grows.

You’ll be required to assist with:

• Writing, creating, scheduling and posting content on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Writing, creating, scheduling and posting blog posts on our blog.
• Building collaborative relationships with key services and referral partners in the community through a variety of communication channels.
• Marketing the service to the wider community by visiting services, attending staff and network meetings, events and conducting information sessions about the service and our modalities.
• Answering client queries and booking appointments where needed.
• Development of resources that service the clients and creates big impact

To be successful in this role, you will have the following required skills:

• Knowledge and experience in social media marketing such as an understanding of trends, post creation, graphic design using Canva and scheduling apps.
• Knowledge of and ability to build collaborative relationships with key services and referral partners within the community.
• Knowledge and understanding of a variety of therapeutic modalities and theories such as play therapy, relational neuroscience and attachment theory.
• Have a current Working with Vulnerable People’s Card, drivers license, roadworthy vehicle, police check (or willingness to provide one), have your own ABN number, Public Liability Insurance, mobile phone, laptop or IPad and reliable internet.

It would be preferred if our successful candidate also had the following skills:

• At least entry level training or a current student in a related field such as social work, counselling, play therapy or early childhood education.
